Autumn is just days away, and something about seeing apples and pumpkins everywhere inspires me to dream in autumn colors and scents.
Even our CSA shares (from Red Fire Farm in Granby, MA) have been colored scarlet, purple and amber by the freshest crop of peppers, eggplant and squashes. Is there anything else quite like the abundance of fall harvests?
So, no wonder I think about flowers in fall palettes all day long.

One of the bouquets to come is a copy in paper flowers of an actual bridal bouquet. The groom contacted me to create the paper flowers version of his bride's bouquet as a gift for their first anniversary. I think it's such a sweet idea that I couldn't resist taking on the challenge.
I'll blog about my progress on this piece in the next few days.

first of all, a BIG congratulations on your mother-to-be status! i just had my first baby last june, and i could not be more happy and fulfilled in my life because of it... even my pregnancy was wonderful. my son is the best thing that ever happened to me!

third, i see you make paper flower bouquets {quite lovely, they are}, and it looks like sometimes for weddings, too! i'm wondering if you ever want to collaborate and do a give-away or something like that. i do wedding invitation design as well as birth announcements. some time, i would like to do a give-away of a free design or something of that sort, and i thought it would be fun to do a multiple give-away on a wedding theme with other designers who design for weddings and such.
the idea just popped into my head when i headed over to your blog to check it out. let me know if you would ever be interested in something like that. if not, that's quite okay.
