Green is not the most popular color for wedding bouquets, but sometimes, when a bride has a vision, emerald greens are just the fresh crispy thing one needs to color a beautiful summer wedding.
The bride in this case, Heidi, asked me to create roses from book pages and touch them with green inks, add emerald touches and construct bouquets for her and her wedding party.
This blog started out as an idea while I was planning my wedding. I wanted to share my passion for all things handmade with people who also like to work with their hands.
There’s a pretty rewarding feeling as you transform a flat piece of paper into something with a 3D value, or wrapping an unusual invitation as a romantic present. New ideas unfold, new dreams in color.
This blog is for creative souls who like unusual invites, thoughtful favors, lovely hanging decorations, vellum flowers that light up with a promise of an enchanted evening. You can find these and other neat things I have made and continue to enjoy making. My blog is for anyone who finds beauty in unusual places or likes to make things out of paper.
Marija, i LOVE this! It's so beautiful! Love the new work and I hope you are well! xo Liz
